'Stop temple construction or there will be bloodshed'

It has been reported that a group of Malay-Muslim protesters who claimed to be Section 23 residents yesterday dumped a cow’s head outside the state secretariat building of Selangor calling for the stop of a Hindu Temple construction, or they will be bloodshed. Their reasons being that the building of the temple in the area which consists of 90% Malay-Muslim neighbourhood was ‘insensitive’ and hence will ‘disrupt their lives’.

Ibrahim Sabri, whom he claims to be the deputy chairman of the Resident’s Committee against the building of the temple shouted “I challenge YB Khalid, YB Rodziah and Xavier Jeyakumar to go on with the temple construction. I guarantee bloodshed and racial tension will happen if this goes on, and the state will be held responsible”
